Wow, what a year we’ve had so far! With all the stress of everything going on around us including work, kids, home and just life quality skincare is so important. I must admit guys, as I get older my skin sometimes has a mind of its own. Therefore, making time to take care of my skin is just as essential as working out, drinking water, showering or brushing my teeth. For this reason, self-care is must, after all its the only skin we have. I just recently started using EltaMD PM Therapy Moisturizer and I love it!
You name a moisturizer and chances are I’ve tried it. Particularly, there are a hand full of brands that I will NOT go without because they are tried and true to my acne prone skin. EltaMD Skincare is one of those brands. It was introduced to me by my dermatologist years ago. So you know it is GOOD! Also at the time, my skin was breaking out so much and just couldn’t stop the breakouts. EltaMD products were a life saver for my skin. The new EltaMD Skincare PM Therapy Facial Moisturizer has been my latest PM/nighttime staple. Oil free, fragrance free, noncomedogenic and safe for sensitive skin. Literally fights wrinkles in your sleep. Fights wrinkles, I’m sold!
EltaMD PM Therapy moisturizer is ideal for aging acne-prone sensitive skin like mine coupled with oily, combination, normal, sensitive and mature skin types. Definitely, by incorporating this moisturizer into your PM routine, you should start to see improvements in your specific skin care woes. Here are a few key ingredients packed in EltaMD PM Therapy Facial Moisturizer worthy of praise.
Niacinamide better known as vitamin B3 and one of the sexiest ingredients out there. I must say it does everything and a bag of chips. Its an antioxidant, brightens the skin tone, fades hyperpigmentation. In addition, it’s an anti-flammatory that reduces redness, regulates oil, minimizes pores and softens fine lines. Incredible!
When I first saw hyaluronic acid, I’m like this is nothing I want to put on my face (I took chemistry you know, just sayin…). But if I told you that hyaluronic acid actually holds the key to smooth, flawless and hydrated skin would you believe Me? Well it does! EltaMD has a fair amount of hyaluronic acid.
I love that it contains ceramides which moisturize and strength your skin while you sleep. I remember when I got a facial, my esthetician said ceramides is one of most important ingredients for the skin.
There is so much to say about Vitamin E in general. However, it is vital to lasting skin. Its a antioxidant that reduces free radicals to help diminish the visible signs of aging.
Peptides are amino acids that make up the proteins in the skin. Rice protein peptides aid in encouraging cell growth, promoting collagen formation and improving elasticity. Yet another ingredient most professionals recommend to include in your skincare routine.
One of the reasons I love this moisturizer is because its super lightweight and honestly can be used in the morning and night.
It doesn’t contain any fatty acids or oils which is a great option for those with sensitivities. Its great for acne prone skin and it doesn’t have any fragrance which is excellent for eczema.
I love the niacinamide content making this a fantastic companion for anti-aging routines that include retinol, or those who simply want to improve the appearance of wrinkles. Hands raised OVER HERE!
And did I say its sulfate, paraben and cruelty free.
So much more….
I use Vitamin C, tea tree oil wipes to remove my makeup, EltaMD Deep Pore Facial Cleanser to clean my face on makeup or makeup less days, then I apply toner with cotton swabs, then I use serum for my face and eyes, followed by a pearl size amount of EltaMD PM Therapy Facial Moisturizer. This is a very luxurious night cream…a little pea size goes a long way. I gently massage it on my face and neck.
